<p>300 gr farina / <em>300 gr flour</em></p>
<p>2 cucchiaini cannella / <em>2 teaspoons cinnamon</em></p>
<p>1/2 cucchiaino lievito / <em>half spoon baking powder</em></p>
<p>1/2 cucchiaino bicarbonato / <em>half spoon soda powder</em></p>
<p>200 gr zucchero di canna (o 150 gr zucchero di canna e 50 gr zucchero bianco / <em>200 gr brown sugar (or 150 gr sugar cane and 50 gr white sugar)</em></p>
<p>4 uova / <em>4 eggs</em></p>
<p>250 ml olio di semi / <em>250 gr vegetal oil</em></p>
<p>Buccia di un  limone grattugiata / <em>lemon zest of 1 lemon</em></p>
<p>300 gr carote grattugiate /<em> 300 gr carrots grated</em></p>
<p>150 gr noci pecan / <em>150 gr pecan nuts</em></p>
<p><em> </em></p>

<p>150 gr burro / <em>125 gr butter</em></p>
<p>80 gr zucchero a velo / <em>50 gr icing sugar</em></p>
<p>350 gr cream cheese / <em>250 gr cream cheese</em></p>
<p>(Colorante blu &gt; in polvere e vegetale acquistatelo in negozi specializzati/ <em>blue colour &gt; powder and vegetal buy it in specialised stores)</em></p>
<p>Tempo: 2 ore / <em>Time: 2 hours</em></p>
<p>Miscelare le farine con liveito e soda e setacciare, unire zucchero e cannella.</p>
<p><em>Sieve the flours with baking powder and soda add the sugar and the cinnamon.</em></p>

<p>In un recipiente unire olio, uova e buccia di limone. Sbattere bene e unire le carote.</p>
<p><em>In a bowl mix the eggs with the oil and the lemon zest. Beat well and add the carrots.</em></p>

<p>Ora unire il composto di farina, poi le noci tritate grossolanamente. Mescolare bene. E versare nella tortiera foderata di carta forno oppure imburrata bene.</p>
<p><em>Now add the flour mixture, add the nuts roughly chopped. Mix well. And pour into the baking pan (previously coated with baking paper or with butter).</em></p>

<p>Infornare per 1 ora a 170°. Fare raffreddare</p>
<p><em>Put into the oven for 1 hour at 170°. Cool down.</em></p>

<p>Nel frattempo preparare la crema di formaggio mescolando gli ingredienti tutti a temperatura ambiente.</p>
<p><em>In the meanwhile prepare the cream by mixing well all the ingredients (room temperature). </em></p>

<p>Tagliare la torta raffreddata in due meta e farcirle con un terzo della crema.</p>
<p><em>Cut the cake into 2 discs and fill them with one third of the cream.</em></p>

<p>Ora unire il colorante alla crema se lo desiderate (o usatela bianca).</p>
<p><em>Add the colour to the cream if you like (or use it as it is).</em></p>
<p>Versare la crema restante sulla torta e con la spatola coprirla bene. Mettere in frigo.</p>
<p><em>Pour the remaining cream on top of the cake and with a spatula spread it throughoutly. Keep in the refrigerator.</em></p>
