<p>340 gr di formaggio spalmabile /<i> 340 gr cream cheese</i></p>
<p>½ cucchiaino di sale / <i>½ tsp</i></p>
<p>675 gr di zucchero / <i>675 gr sugar</i></p>
<p>450 gr di farina/ <i>450 gr </i></p>
<p>6 uova / <i>6 eggs</i></p>
<p>2 bustine di vanillina / <i>2 tsps vanilla extract</i></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Glassa / <i>Frosting</i></p>
<p>60 ml d’acqua /<i> 60 ml water</i></p>
<p>60 ml di rhum / <i>60 ml rhum</i></p>
<p>60 gr di zucchero / <i>60 gr granulated sugar</i></p>
<p>115 gr di burro / <i>115 gr butter</i></p>
<p>115 gr di mandorle affettate / <i>115 gr sliced almonds</i></p>

<p>Scaldare il forno a 160°.</p>
<p><i>Pre-heat oven at 160° C.</i></p>

<p>Montare con la frusta il formaggio e il burro a temperatura ambiente per una decina di minuti o finché diverranno soffici.</p>
<p><i>Whisk the cream cheese and the butter (both at room temperature), until soft and fluffy.</i></p>

<p>Unire lo zucchero, la vanillina e un pizzico di sale e amalgamare bene il tutto con la frusta.</p>

<p>Versare in uno stampo da ciambella alto imburrato e infarinato e infornare per circa 1H45/2h. Lasciare intepidire.</p>

<p>A parte fare bollire in un pentolino tutti gli ingredienti per la glassa per circa 10 minuti finché non sarà ristretto. Aggiungere le mandorle una volta spento. Lasciare intepidire e decorare la torta.</p>

<p>10 limoni non trattati (gialli o verdi) / <i>10 organic lemons (yellow or green)</i></p>
<p>2 l di latte scremato / <i>2 liters skimmed milk</i></p>
<p>1,9 kg di zucchero / <i>1,9 kg granulated sugar</i></p>
<p>1 bustina di vanillina / <i>1 tsp vanilla extract</i></p>

<p>Tagliare le bucce (solo la parte gialla o verde del limone), macerare  le bucce di limone  nell’ alcool per 7/8 giorni al buio.</p>
<p><i>Cut careful the lemon peel (avoid the white parts – you should only use the yellow peel). Marinate the peels into the alcohol for 7/8 days (storing in a dark place).</i></p>

<p>5 onions</p>
<p>half glass olive oil</p>
<p>500 ml stock (or water and 1 stock cube)</p>
<p>3 tbs all-purpose flour</p>
<p>50 gr butter</p>
<p>half glass white wine</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>1 baguette</p>
<p>30 gr. butter</p>
<p>200 gr gruyere cheese</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Peel and slice the onions finely.</p>

<p>Heat the oil in a pan and add the onions. Cook them at  low heat for 15 minutes. Stir frequently.</p>

<p>Meanwhile toast the flour. Add it on an ungreased pan and let it toast on high heat, stirring constantly, untili it becomes brown.</p>
<p>Add it to the onions and stir well.</p>

<p>Now add the stock  and the wine and mix well. Let boil for 6/7 minutes.</p>

<p>4 uova / <em>4 eggs</em></p>
<p>200 gr burro a temperatura ambiente / <em>200 gr butter room-temperature</em></p>
<p>2 cucchiaini di lievito / <em>2 tbs baking powder</em></p>
<p>1 cucchiaino vanillina / <em>1 tbs vanilla extract</em></p>
<p>300 gr zucchero / <em>300 gr caster sugar</em></p>
<p>150 gr di uvetta / <em>150 gr raisins</em></p>
<p>Latte q.b. / <em>a bit of milk if necessary</em></p>
<p>Mettere l’uvetta a bagno in acqua tiepida.</p>
<p><em>Put the raisins in warm water.</em></p>
<p>Sbattere bene il burro con lo zucchero.</p>
<p><em>Beat the butter with the sugar.</em></p>
