<p>800 gr tomato sauce</p>
<p>2 garlic cloves</p>
<p>30 gr fresh basil</p>
<p>half glass of olive oil</p>
<p>salt and pepper</p>
<p>1 tsp sugar</p>

<p>Make the tomato sauce. Fry the garlic with the olive oil.</p>

<p>Add the tomato sauce, salt, pepper and the sugar. Let simmer (low heat) half covered for 15-20 minutes.</p>

<h2>Tomato Soda Bread</h2>

<p>150 gr gorgonzola / <em>150 gr gorgonzola cheese</em></p>
<p>100 gr passata di pomodoro / <em>100 gr tomato puree</em></p>
<p>3 uova / <em>3 eggs</em></p>
<p>200 gr farina / <em>200 gr flour</em></p>
<p>4 cucchiai d’olio d’oliva / <em>4 tbs olive oil</em></p>
<p>sale e pepe / <em>salt &amp; pepper</em></p>
<p>1 bustina lievito per torte salate / <em>1 tbs baking soda</em></p>
<p>In un recipiente mettere la farina con il lievito, l’olio e unire le uova. Incorporare bene con una frusta. Unire sale e pepe.</p>
<p><em>In a container mix the flour with the baking soda, the olive oil, and add the eggs. Mix well using a whisk. Add salt and pepper.</em></p>

<p>Unire la passata di pomodoro.</p>
<p><em>Add the tomato puree.</em></p>

<p>Unire il gorgonzola schiacciato con una forchetta. Sempre con la frusta incorporare bene.</p>

<p>Versare in uno stampo da plum-cake.</p>

<p>Cuocere in forno per circa 45 minuti a 170°.</p>
